Your pizza should be puffy and perfectly charred. It will take about one to 2 minutes for it to cook completely.
Fyra 12 is great, but there are some caveats. Ooni brand pellets and fire starters must be used. It is however annoying. Your pizza will thank you. When you make a lot of pizzas, it is important to keep the hopper full. These are just a few of the things I recommend, but if you have the patience to remember them, I highly recommend it. It's as easy as a wood-fired oven to use and produces excellent results. It folds up easily for storage. I am looking forward to using the Fyra 12 once more. I am already planning a pizza party for my parents next month. It is truly amazing how it works. I could easily take them to New York City for pizza. However, I now have the ability to make my own homemade pizzas.
There's definitely a knack to doing this to ensure you get the pizza off the peel in one piece without losing your toppings (and patience). Gently shuffling it off the peel is the best way and you soon get the knack of it after a few tries.

It can be fueled with wood pellets that you put into the hopper at the back. You can't light flames, arrange charcoal or logs or touch a propane tank.
To make my maiden pizza adventure, I purchased all-natural wood pellets and fire starters from a local hardware shop. It initially worked well. The oven did not reach the temperature claimed on the website and took 4-6 minutes to cook each pie. The Ooni brand starter and hardwood pellets were much more powerful and lit up much quicker than the original Ooni brand. I was able to cook the same pizza in just 1-2 minutes.
But, at the end of it all, the Fyra 12's real question is whether or not the Fyra 12 can cook high-quality pizza. The answer is a clear yes, provided you're willing to work around its limitations.
We liked: Well, everything, really. The results from the Ooni are quick, crispy, tasty and presumably healthier than a standard takeaway � and experimenting with cooking times, dough types and toppings is a lot of fun.
